Square Enix revealed its War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius FFX event will reach western audiences. The company also released a trailer to its official YouTube channel to promote the mobile game’s crossover. The Final Fantasy X event will run from March 24 through May 04, 2021.
The Final Fantasy collaboration features three playable characters: Abes’ Star Player Tidus, Summoner of Spira Yuna, and Legendary Guardian Auron. Fans can play as the heroes and take on event bosses like Dark Flan, Defender Z, and even Yunalesca. Those who log in during the War of the Visions FFX collaboration period will receive Tidus as a bonus UR unit. Check out the trailer below for gameplay of Yuna, Tidus, and Auron and their special attacks.
Square Enix announced the crossover back in November 2020 for Japanese audiences at the end of the year. Thankfully, the West won’t miss out on this huge event. War of the Visions is no stranger to collaborations with other major titles under the Square Enix umbrella. The mobile game has had Final Fantasy Tactics characters like Agrias and Delita, and even NieR:Automata protagonists like 2B and 9SÂ have joined in.
War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is available now for iOS and Android devices. The FFX crossover event will begin on March 24 and run until May 04, 2021.
