Gungho Online Entertainment has multiple Volta-X dates for people. This time, they cover multiple means of playing the game. Ahead of launch, PC owners will be able to take part in a free Volta-X preview between August 7-8, 2020. Then, on August 12, the Switch and PC versions will appear.
To take part in the Volta-X PC trial, people need to register at the official website. There, they can sign up by requesting a Steam preview key via email. Once they have it, they’ll be able to test out a limited sample of the “animals controlling a mech to fight enemies” simulation starting at 5pm PT on August 7, 2020. This event will end at 9pm PT on August 8, 2020.
This will mark the second time people will be able to get a Volta-X preview on PCs. There was also a beta in July 2020. That only lasted one day though: July 18, 2020.
Finally, there’s a new Volta-X trailer to show off the game. While the initial footage focused on gameplay, this one includes both animated segments looking at the animals running the robots too.
Volta-X Switch and PC copies will appear for $19.99 on August 12, 2020. Prior to that, people can sign up for the free PC preview and play between August 7-8, 2020.
