Lego announced that 57 product ideas made it past the review qualification round and into the First 2021 Review. This means that if these ideas can get 10,000 more supporters before September 6, 2021, they can enter the next round of reviews and get one step closer to being a real Lego set. Video game-inspired Lego ideas like Hyrule Castle from The Legend of Zelda, Samus Aran’s Gunship from Metroid, and a News Horizons Paradise set from Animal Crossing will be available to support in this batch.
The full list of Lego sets in consideration are on Lego’s website, but here is a list of video game-inspired sets you can back:
- Hyrule Castle (The Legend of Zelda)
- Samus Aran’s Gunship (Metroid)
- The Skeld (Among Us)
- Paradise (Animal Crossing: New Horizons)
Aside from Lego ideas based on a video game, there are sets like Halloween Town from The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Shire from The Lord of the Rings. You can even support a Totoro set featuring Cat Bus. It’s not just pop culture either. There are creative original ideas, such as Lego train bookends and snow globes.
To support a Lego project, you need a Lego account. By going to the idea’s page, you can choose to support and follow. Currently, the ideas are under review, so you cannot support them until a little later.
For those interested in an existing idea, a Luigi Lego Super Mario set will release worldwide on August 1, 2021. Prices vary depending on region and where you choose to buy it.
After the review period, these Lego ideas have until September 6, 2021 to get 10,000 supporters. To support an idea you’re interested in or like, you need a Lego account.
