Utada Hikaru defeated at Nintendo’s Tetris challenge

A while back Nintendo of Japan held a contest where people could either get tickets for her new concert Utada United 2006 or challenge the pop singer at a game of Tetris DS. She’s been playing Tetris everyday since she was five and took the competition seriously enough to bring her glasses to play. There were thirty lucky winners who got to play a game against her for a maximum time of six minutes. The first game didn’t go so well, Utada lost in less than a minute. The second game wasn’t looking so hot either, since she lost that one. The tides turned in her third match where she had an easy victory against a kid. What’s the end result? Check past the jump for the final score and a picture of her victory.
