Usada Pekora of Hololive will serve as the official ambassador for FGO Fes 2023, which will be a major event commemorating the eighth anniversary of Fate/Grand Order. More details of what this will entail will come out soon. There will also be a major announcement for Fate/Grand Order on July 29, 2023.
On July 29-30, 2023, she will host a live-stream and commentate on what’s going on at the event from a special studio. Those are the two dates of the event. Though the event will run from 9am to 5pm, Usada’s stream will only take place from 3:10pm to 3:45pm on those dates. Aside from being able to visit panels or discussions, going to FGO Fes 2023 means you’ll be able to buy limited merchandise. There will also be attractions such as Bar Spiderweb, where you can roleplay meeting a Servant at the eponymous bar.
Some reactions to Usada Pekora’s status as the FGO Fes 2023 ambassador on Twitter have been fairly negative. Several tweets replied that Fate/Grand Order doesn’t need VTubers, and its fans don’t want to see them either. Others have stated that this collaboration doesn’t match the worldview of Fate/Grand Order at all. As a reminder, she is just the ambassador; currently, Lasengle has not announced that it will release her merchandise or add her to the game.
Fate/Grand Order is readily available on mobile devices. FGO Fes 2023 will take place on July 29 and 30, 2023. The current event, Mystic Eyes Symphony, is available until July 26, 2023. Players also have until then to pull for Medusa Saber.
