UNIQLO has partnered with Nintendo to launch its UNIQLO T-shirt Grand Prix 2017 design contest. People from around the world are encouraged to participate in this year’s contest, the theme of which is, fittingly, Nintendo. Contestants can create designs based on a variety of different Nintendo games, such as Pokémon, Super Mario Bros., Splatoon, Star Fox, and many more. Here’s the official announcement trailer from Nintendo.

The winners of the contest will be notified in Spring of 2017. Grand Prize winners will receive $10,000 dollars, Second Prize winners will receive $3,000, and finalists will receive $500. Grand Prize and Second Prize winners will also receive an invitation to a special award ceremony in Japan. Shigeru Miyamoto, who will also act as a judge in the contest, will attend the ceremony. Grand Prize and Second Prize winners will receive an NX signed by Miyamoto himself.

The Grand Prix’s winning T-shirt designs will be included in UNIQLO’s Spring/Summer 2017 UT Collection. This collection will be available in men’s, women’s, and kids’ lines from UNIQLO stores in 18 countries, as well as at the UNIQLO.com online store.
