Umihara Kawase BaZooKa!! was shown off yesterday on Studio Saizensen’s livestream, where they went in-depth on how to play and deal damage to your opponents.
At the start, players choose where they want to land from the start. By picking up enemies, they are converted into Bazooka bullets that can be shot out for damage. You’re also allowed to pick up enemies and shoot them for damage, though this obviously will take more skill and prediction of your opponent.
Furthermore, every character has three different abilities that can be used to deal damage, as well as the power to double jump by default. When using the second jump, it has a hitbox that can damage the opponent, and damage is also massively boosted if you do it right after a Rocket Dash.
Finally, there’s a way to quickly ascend walls by pressing the lure and jump buttons at the same time, which will make the characters perform something like a wall kick.

Umihara Kawase BaZooKa!! releases for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Summer 2020. Success plans to release the game on all platforms simultaneously.
