The French publisher also revealed that Philippe “Golgoth71” Dessoly, who had experience as an official Grendizer artist, will assist in creating the game’s art style. Endroad, a game studio made by former members of Ubisoft and Amplitude Studios, is in charge of this title’s development.

The trailer simply shows a silhouette of the Grendizer and the original Japanese logo. Alongside the short trailer, Microids also published a couple of screenshots from an early build of the game. It shows the eponymous super robot standing in Japan with Mount Fuji as a backdrop. One of the screenshots also confirmed that the aerial vehicle Spazer will also be present in this game.

In February 2021, Dynamic Planning confirmed that Microids had approached Grendizer‘s IP holder to create an action game based on the classic robot anime show. The title is particularly popular in France and Italy, where it is known as Goldorak and Goldrake, respectively. The creator Go Nagai also said that he is looking forward to the new game adaptation.

The UFO Robot Grendizer video game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2023.
