Ubisoft’s Watch_Dogs, which they revealed at E3 2012, will be available for a wide range of consoles, the publisher announced this evening. Watch Dogs is headed to PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PlayStation 4 (at launch).

Watch_Dogs takes place in a future where society is fully connected, and where a reliance on technology and communication networks puts individuals and corporations at the risk of exposure.

You’ll play as Aiden Pearce, a vigilante who can use his smartphone to hack into Chicago’s central operating system to control the city. Pearce will be able to take control of security cameras, traffic lights, public transportation and more.

The development of Watch_Dogs is being led by Ubisoft Montreal, with support from Ubisoft’s Bucharest, Paris, Quebec and Reflections studios.
