Life is Strange developer Dontnod released a teaser trailer for its latest story-focused game, Twin Mirror. The game is about an investigative journalist who returns to his former hometown, only to find deeper, darker secrets waiting for him there.
Check out the trailer below:
On a trip to his hometown of Basswood, West Virginia, in order to say a final farewell to his best friend, former investigative journalist Sam Higgs soon finds that there’s more to the story than meets the eye. As he is forced to confront his past life, Sam will need to choose whether he’ll reconnect with the important people in his life or solve the case with his abilities. During gameplay, players will need to use Sam’s deductive reasoning and memory visualization in order to solve key events and guide him through the story. Like other Dontnod games, each decision will count, but the developer said to just follow your instincts and values to complete the game.
Twin Mirror is set to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store. The game was originally set to be split into three episodes, with the first one titled Lost on Arrival, but now will appear as one full game.
