Details have surfaced regarding the Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon limited edition. While various stores in Japan will receive individual pre-order benefits, the physical limited edition will feature a special illustrated box cover. The Tsukihime limited edition will cost ¥8,800 or approximately $80. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
Takashi Takeuchi, co-founder and illustrator for TYPE-MOON will be the artist behind the unique illustration. Additionally, a digital deluxe version will be available to purchase. Consumers can get their hands on the Tsukihime digital deluxe edition for ¥8,250 or $75. This version will come with scenario information booklet that will total one hundred pages. However, this digital version is exclusive to the PlayStation 4 release of Tsukihime.
The previously mentioned individual pre-order benefits from various Japanese retailers include a tapestry, cloth poster, a clear poster, can badges, and smartphone wallpaper. It’s currently unknown if these benefits will be bundled together in a more expensive version of the game.
Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon will only cover specific routes. Kinoko Nasu opened up about the development of the remake, explaining this decision. It was also mentioned that the remake will take roughly forty-five hours to complete.
Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon will release for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on August 26, 2021.
