It’s been quite a while since we’ve heard about the Akatsuki and Too Kyo Games title Tribe Nine, especially as more news was supposed to appear in 2023, but now an official site is open, trailer is live, and closed beta test is on the way. As a reminder, this is the free-to-play, Extreme Baseball JRPG where teams go around Neo-Tokyo trying to free the city.
While Tribe Nine will be available on mobile devices and PCs, the closed beta test will only be held on Steam. People can sign up on the official site for a chance to be picked to play. There is a section there to register, and there’s no cut-off date for signing up yet. Note that this beta will only be available in English, Japanese, and both simplified and traditional Chinese. Those who are picked will be emailed and get to test it in July 2024.
Here are the minimum system requirements for Tribe Nine:

- OS: Windows 10/11 64bit
- Processor: Intel Core i7-6700 / AMD Ryzen 7 3750H (PassMark Score over 8,091 CPU)
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: GeForce GTX 1650 / Radeon RX 580 (PassMark Score over 7,860 video card)
- DirectX: Version 11
And these are the recommended specs:

- OS: Windows 10/11 64bit
- Processor: Intel Core i7-9700/ AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (PassMark Score over 13,200 CPU)
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: GeForce GTX 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT (PassMark Score over 14,000 video card)
- DirectX: Version 11

While waiting for the game, people can already get familiar with Tribe Nine. This is because the anime adaptation already launched back in 2022. It is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
Tribe Nine is in development for PCs and mobile devices, and the PC closed beta test on Steam will happen in July 2024.
