The anime adaptation of Tribe Nine will release in Japan on January 10, 2022. As Funimation is a co-producer for the upcoming Tribe Nine anime, it will be available from the streaming service. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
Tribe Nine follows different gangs in Tokyo who participate in “extreme baseball,” which is so intense that they usually look more like street fights. Akatsuki and Too Kyo Games first announced Tribe Nine in February 2020. Other pieces of Tribe Nine media that will debut soon include a mobile game. There is also already a 4-koma manga series that is available from the Tribe Nine Twitter account.

- Tenshin Otori: Hiroshi Naka (Monkey D. Garp from One Piece)
- Oujiro Otori: Junichi Suwabe (Viktor from Yuri!!! On Ice)
- Yui Kamiki: Mikako Komatsu (Rose from Tales of Zestiria)

Like the newly-announced Enigma Archives: Rain Code, Tribe Nine is the brainchild of the Danganronpa creative team. Kodaka returns as the writer, Takada as the music composer, and Komatsuzaki as the character designer.
