Tourist Trophy to have USB thumb drive support

Here’s an interesting little tidbit about Polyphony’s upcoming professional motorcycle game. If you purchase a 128 MB Tourist Trophy thumb drive you can store time attack data and pictures of your races. Screenshots are captured at a decent resolution, 1280 x 960. Later on you can upload photos directly to your PC and show off your best race pictures. Certainly this is a great idea, but we wonder why more PS2 games haven’t thought of adding USB thumb drive support for similar features or downloadable content. The thumbdrive costs a hefty sum of 3,990円 ($34), but if you’re a racing fan it may be worth the money.
