The demo will allow players to experience the beginning of the game. They will play through the introductory chapter. Additionally, all DLC available for the Nintendo Switch version of the game will be available for the PC version. The DLC will be immediately available on that platform upon release on May 24, 2022.

A Touken Ranbu Warriors Digital Deluxe Edition is also available to purchase. This is what it includes:

  • 5 Honmaru Backgrounds
  • 5 Additional Pieces of Music
  • 16 Uchiban Outfits

However, the official Steam page does mention some stipulations for the backgrounds, as there are certain situations where they cannot be applied. This is also true for some outfits and pieces of music. These pieces of DLC content can also be purchased individually outside of the Digital Deluxe Edition.

Touken Ranbu Warriors will release in North American and Europe for PC and Nintendo Switch on May 24, 2022. It is immediately available in Japan for Nintendo Switch.
