Team Ladybug’s Project Touhou Metroidvania, Touhou Luna Nights, is getting one last update on June 14, 2019 (JST).
According to the team, the final update will include extra stages, a Boss Rush mode, more achievements, as well as a “super special guest” appearing as a boss. (Spoilers: It’s Reimu.)

For those of you who are picking up the game for the first time, here’s a quick introduction as to what sort of awesome title Touhou Luna Nights is.
This game was built in such a way as to fully take advantage of the beautifully rendered sprite animation, the Touhou Project’s “grazing” system which allows for the recovery of HP and MP, and main character Sakuya Izayoi’s power of controlling time and hardcore knife battles.
It also boasts extremely high levels of Metroidvania-style action as you are forced to overcome a wide variety of gimmicks while also taking time to explore the vast map.
