Konami has released a bit more info on the backgrounds of the five new guys that are available to date if you put in the effort. New photos from the Tokimeki Memorial: Girl’s Side 4 event where the game was announced have also been revealed. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Protagonist
A girl who recently became a part-time writer for the Habataki Watcher magazine in Habataki City.
Ryouta Kazama (CV: Yuki Kaji)
A charismatic high schooler who works at the general store, and is childhood friends with the protagonist. To everyone, he’s a bright and dependable young man, but it seems he shows a different side of him to his childhood friend…
In fact, he loves the protagonist so much that he could even confess on the spot, but it seems the protagonist hasn’t noticed this.
Nozomu Sassa (CV: Takuya Satou)
A sportsman with a pleasant personality who participates in decathlons for the Track & Field Club. His dream is to win first place at every event in a decathlon. He does his training by the seaside at Hanegasaki, and also does part-time helping people walk their dogs.
That said, he’s not just about sports and taking action – he’s got a logical side to him where he clearly plans out things before striving to achieve them.
Iku Honda (CV: Sonosuke Hattori)
The “quiz king” who won the preliminaries of the “Quiz! Brain Inter-High” competition held in Habataki City. He’s good at teaching others and talking to others, and as such, kids look up to him. All this stems from his strong sense of curiosity in all sorts of topics, from family-related topics to things like how to do makeup. That said, he also seems to have some sort of dream he’d like to fulfill.
Minoru Nanatsumori (CV: Yohei Azakami)
A newbie fashion model who works under the pseudonym Nana, who is Kei Hazuki’s (from Girl’s Side 1) junior. In private, he wears glasses, and as such has a very different feel from when he’s on the job. He’s also a cosplayer, a streamer, and has various other interests. Overall, he’s a mysterious high-schooler with a multifaceted personality.
Yanosuke Hiiragi (CV: Jun Fukuyama)
The leader of the popular Habataki Theatre Group. While he’s new at taking care of the business side of things, he puts his heart into his work, and wants to protect the group as long as he can. He’s also the lead actor, and can do main character roles and female roles as well.
He looks to be a dependable person, he has a bit of an eccentric side, where he might not know what gum rollers are, or say thanks to self-checkout machines after buying things.
Tokimeki Memorial: Girl’s Side 4 is slated to release in 2020, but what platforms it is coming to has not been shared.
