Pokémon Black/White 2 still refuse to budge from the top spot on the weekly software sales chart in Japan. This means that last week’s best-selling new game, Taiko Drum Master for the 3DS, had to settle for the #2 spot. Taiko sold 65,462 copies in its first week.

 

At #3 was another new release—Pocket Soccer League: Calcio Bit from Nintendo, which sold 26,449 copies. While that number seems low, it probably isn’t. Here’s what Calcio Bit looks like.

 

Finally, Level 5’s sci-fi adventure, Time Travelers, was released last week as well, on the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. The Vita version slightly outsold its 3DS counterpart (by about 300 copies), probably owing to less competition on the Vita. The more interesting question is: Is this why the PSP version was delayed?
