Top-seller: The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Blue – 127,938
Nintendo 3DS sales: 58,504 | Total sales: 1,964,105
The biggest release last week was Nihon Falcom’s The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Blue for the PSP. The latest Legend of Heroes game sold close to 128,000 copies in its first week.
Following it at #2 was Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends, an updated expansion to Dynasty Warriors 7. It includes new actions in battle and new weapons, among other features, and is compatible with save data from the original game. At #3 was Dark Souls, dropping significantly in sales from last week, followed by rhythm game, Rebuild of Evangelion: 3nd Impact, at #4.
3DS hardware have settled back at the 58,000 mark, following the sudden boost provided by Senran Kagura upon its release. The one new 3DS game that was released last week was The 3D Illustrated Encyclopedia of Flora and Fauna, an interesting title published by Nintendo. We’ll have a feature up on the game this weekend.
