This Week In Imports: The Alliance Alive Rises Once More

This week is a bit of a lean week in Japan, marked by some ports and HD remasters like The Alliance Alive HD Remastered. The game is an RPG developed by FuRyu and Cattle Call, which takes the SaGa style of gameplay of ‘awakening’ skills and stats, and meshes it with a story of hope penned by Suikoden creator Yoshitaka Murayama. The English version will release in the West in 2020, but you can also check it out on Nintendo 3DS as there doesn’t seem to be any additional content.

Aside from The Alliance Alive, there are some other games like Yo-kai Watch 1 for Nintendo Switch, Arc of Alchemist for Nintendo Switch, and Korean-developed Mistover, which is a roguelike and turnbased RPG hybrid. There is also moon, the first rerelease of the ‘anti-RPG’ since its original release on PlayStation 1.

As a reminder, Siliconera gets a small portion pocket change from your purchases from our Play-Asia links below. You can also save $3 by using the code “SILICON” by using the coupon button at the payment method selection screen.
