This week, Paper Mario will return with a brand-new arts & crafts-themed adventure. Paper Mario: The Origami King features Mario journeying around the Mushroom Kingdom once more, as it is being assaulted by King Olly and his minions. (King Olly has folded Peach into Origami Peach.) Joining Mario’s journey is the king’s sister, Olivia, and Mario also learns the ability to use the 1000-fold arms to stretch and pull things in the overworld. Battles play somewhat differently and feature a ring-based battle system without traditional level-up mechanics.
Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town also releases this week in North America and is the first game in the long-running series to be brought to PCs worldwide. The game is a remake of the fan-favorite GBA title, with an updated artstyle and new love interests to woo.
