This Week In Imports: Dig Deep Down in Yomi wo Saku Hana

Yomi wo Saku Hana

In a week without any big releases, you really need to dig deep to find good Japanese import releases. That’s where Experience’s dungeon-crawling RPG Yomi wo Saku Hana fits in, featuring illegally-hired miners who are sent underground to find new sources of energy in the mysterious structure known as Yomi. Fending off monsters using the Switch Boost system, the miners will get closer and closer to finding out more about the hidden ruler of Yomi. The title was announced back in 2016 and has changed a lot since, so it’s a long-anticipated title for fans of the genre.

While not new to the West, The Wonderful 101: Remastered is also finally releasing in Japan. The stream of Kunio-kun and Jake Hunter Detective Story individual releases continue too, and Kamiko gets rare physical editions courtesy of B-Side Games.
