While players can get Prishe and Lilisette from playing the FFXI event in Granblue Fantasy, Shantotto II will be available from the shop. So far, Cygames only teased a picture of Prishe.

In March 2022, Cygames announced the FFXI crossover event that will occur in Granblue Fantasy starting May 9, 2022. The announcement took place during the eighth anniversary stream, to the vocal delight of some of the cast present.

On May 14, 2022, Cygames will host a stream to celebrate the event, as well as the 20th anniversary of FFXI. This stream will feature members of the Granblue Fantasy cast and team who are big fans of the long-running MMORPG. This will include Emiri Kato and Asami Imai (who cheered during the aforementioned March 2022 stream at news of the FFXI event), as well as Yu Asakawa and Katsuyuki Konishi.

Granblue Fantasy is available on iOS and Android devices, as well as on web browsers. The FFXI crossover event will take place starting May 9, 2022.
