Which characters can I romance in My Time at Sandrock?

In My Time at Sandrock, all characters who are romance options are available to the player, regardless of their gender. You can tell on the social screen which characters you can date. Specifically, Characters who can be romanced in My Time at Sandrock have pink backgrounds, and the stars on their relationship meter will be replaced by hearts.

Some characters, including Ernest, Jane, Logan, Nia and Pablo, are not initially available to romance. They become available after storyline quests or other milestones. Some characters are also harder to romance than others and require you to complete missions tied to them first, like Fang.

In order to date a character, you need to give them a heart knot. That can be purchased from the store By The Stairs for 136 Gol. However, the character can accept or reject it based on their relationship level and whether or not certain prerequisites have been met.

Finally, for those who have found their special someone in Sandrock, you can marry your partner. This requires and even closer bond and plenty of dates before you propose, however.

How many My Time at Sandrock characters can I date at once?

While it’s possible to date more than one character, you should be careful if you attempt it. I’ve found if you are on a date with one character and another person you’ve given a heart knot to and are dating catches you, it will damage the relationship you have with both of them. Additionally, some characters will break up on the spot with no chance to apologize and reconcile. For example, I noted Amirah and Catori both immediately break up with you after this sort of situation. Keep this in mind as you navigate the dating scene of Sandrock.
