Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call Announced For Nintendo 3DS

Recommended Videos

Square Enix recently filed a trademark for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call, and now we know what it’s for—a Nintendo 3DS game.

Next week’s Shounen Jump magazine in Japan reveals that Curtain Call is headed to the 3DS in spring 2014, and and that the game will include over 200 songs and 60 characters from the Final Fantasy games. The songlist will include music from Final Fantasy XIV and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.

New to the game will be a versus battle mode where you can challenge other players to rhythm battles.

Since Square trademarked Curtain Call in the U.S., hopefully that means we’ll see a western release of the game.
