The World Ends With You Anime OST

Square Enix will release a The World Ends With You anime OST in late June 2020. The original soundtrack will feature a total of fifty-four songs, including the opening and ending for the series. Consumers can currently pre-order The World Ends With You anime soundtrack through the official Square Enix Japan e-Store. The original soundtrack will cost ¥3,300 or roughly $30, and will release on June 30, 2021. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

An official promotional page for the original soundtrack is currently available to view. This includes a look at a special pre-purchase “mega jacket” consumers will be able to get their hands on by pre-ordering the original soundtrack. As mentioned previously, the original soundtrack will feature a total of fifty-four songs. The official store page for the OST mentions that fifty-one of the songs have been produced specifically for the animated series. They will be divided up onto a total of two discs. There is currently no indication that this soundtrack will be available to purchase outside of Japan.

People can currently get their hands on a Neku and Shiki figures. These figures are modeled after key art from The World Ends With You anime. Pre-orders for the figures are currently open, with the figures expected to ship in September 2021.

The World Ends With You: The Animation debuted in Japan on April 9, 2021. North American viewers can watch the anime through the Funimation streaming service.
