PlayStation 3

The Sixaxis’ distant prototype cousin

pelicanps3.jpgSure, Sony and most of the gaming world are shifting their attention towards the Dual Shock 3. But, when the Playstation 3 first came out the Sixaxis was a big deal for third party companies who make accessories. Pelican who is known for making a handy system selector tried to get the rights to make a third party controller. However, Logitech got the license and Pelican was stuck with a bunch of prototypes. Now you can own one of them! The sharp eyes at Gamesniped found an auction for one of Pelican’s wireless PS3 controllers that may or may not support tilt control. Who needs that anyway? Only collectors are going to want this anyways.
