On July 16, 2020, SNK confirmed there would be a Samurai Shodown Honor of Kings DLC character joining the cast. A vague silhouette was shared. Also, we didn’t really have a confirmation on how the whole affair would work, since there were two images that suggested the crossover would take place in Samurai Shodown and Honor of Kings. Now, SNK has confirmed a DLC character is on the way, offered a better look at them, and said it will be free.
Here’s the tweet confirming the announcement. It also offered the updated teaser image, which has a more defined character silhouette. It seems like the person is either wearing a hooded outfit or has long hair. Also, you can see a bit of their weapon outline over their right shoulder.
The silhouette for our newest DLC character has been revealed! Plus, they’ll be completely free to own as a special thanks to our fans out there! We hope you look forward to it! #SNK #SAMSHO #HonorofKings pic.twitter.com/jlQAFKpBmd
