In Capcom’s Exoprimal, you hop into mechs known as Exosuits and take on waves upon waves of dinosaurs. There are three types of Exosuit—Tank, Support, and Assault—and each fills an essential role within a team. So depending on the role you prefer, the best Exosuits for you to use in Exoprimal can change.

Krieger’s adaptability makes it the best Exosuit for Exoprimal Tank players
While Krieger certainly looks the part when it comes to being a Tank, the Exosuit’s adaptability is unmatched compared to the others in its role. Not only is it a total damage sponge with 900 HP, but it also shreds through dinosaurs with its K-40 Repulsor Minigun, leaving little to be desired in terms of damage output.
If that wasn’t already good enough, Krieger’s Dome Shield provides protection for the entire team in both PvE and PvP play. Whether you’re going up against dinosaurs or a fellow Exosuit, Krieger is essential for survival.

Zephyr’s speed is invaluable for Assault players
If you can handle Zephyr’s speediness, it is the best Assault Exosuit in Exoprimal. Zephyr has a puny 350 HP health bar, meaning you need to master its moves to outrun incoming damage. It is a learning curve, but once you’re there, you’ll be almost unstoppable.
Zephyr uses tonfas that emit energy beams to deal damage, which can be pretty devastating to slower-moving Exosuit opponents such as Krieger. It also has a double jump ability (think Genji in Overwatch) to dodge fast dinosaurs like the Triceratops.

If Support is your thing, Skywave is your best friend in Exoprimal
You get the best of both worlds with Skywave. Not only does its Aether Lance weapon attack damage enemies, but it also heals allies on contact. Its Optics Jammer ability is fantastic for protecting teammates as it stuns enemies and heals friendlies.
Skywave is a great option for Support beginners as you don’t need to worry about switching between attack and heal modes like you do with Nimbus. It also gives you an overview of the arena with its Slipstream flying ability, so you’ve almost always got an idea of where to focus your attention next.
