TBS and Kodansha have confirmed that season 3 of The Quintessential Quintuplets is currently in the works. This announcement came right after the final episode of the second anime season, The Quintessential Quintuplets ∬, aired on March 26, 2021, in Japan. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
The franchise, also known by its Japanese title Go-Toubun no Hanayome, originated as a serial manga created by Negi Haruba in 2017. It became even more well-known after the first season of the anime adaptation aired in 2019. The romantic comedy tells the story of Futaro Uesugi, a genius hired to tutor his classmate Itsuki and the rest of the Nakano quintuplets — Yotsuba, Miku, Nino, and Ichika.
TBS has published a teaser trailer for The Quintessential Quintuplets anime season 3 on its YouTube channel. It showed all five Nakano sisters in wedding dresses. However, a release window for the new season is still unknown.
