The Oshiri Kajiri Mushi appears in Taiko no Tatsujin DS 2

taiko.jpgThe Oshiri Kajiri Mushi license is not exclusive to Sega. The bottom biting bug will make an appearance in Taiko no Tatsujin DS: 7tsu no Shima no Daibouken, likely with his (hypnotic) signature tune. He will be joined by everyone’s favorite blue robotic cat Doraemon, who also has a song in the game. In addition to these external themes, Namco Bandai has a couple songs from the Idolm@ster as playable tracks in Taiko no Tatsujin DS 2.

Perhaps, these cameos aren’t as internationally recognizable as the Super Mario Brothers theme Namco Bandai in Taiko no Tatsujin DS, but in Japan these are pretty significant additions save for the Idolm@ster songs. Those are sort of expected considering it’s happened in the past. “Go My Way” was part of the previous Taiko no Tatsujin DS game.
