The OppoSuits $120 Pokemon Suit Salutes the Original Starters

Lots of Pokemon 25th anniversary merchandise is appearing ahead of the big day on February 27, 2021. One of these items is an OppoSuit collaboration, as the company announced it will sell a Pokemon suit. The $119.99 outfit will ship on February 22, 2021. 

People who pick up the novelty suit will get three pieces in the set. There’s a jacket, a pair of pants, and a matching tie. All three have the same Bulbasaur, Charmander, Pikachu, and Squirtle pattern. This is a tribute to Pokemon Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow, the early games where all four appeared as starters. It is available in sizes US36-52.

This is the second clothing collaboration to show up ahead of the anniversary. Levi’s announced a Pokemon clothing line. It is decidedly more casual. There are items referencing iconic characters, like Ash and Misty. There are also pieces with Pokemon like Pikachu, Snorlax, Jigglypuff, Togepi, and Gengar on them. A new U-Treasure Psyduck necklace is also on the way.

The OppoSuit Pokemon suit pre-orders are open, and it will ship on February 22, 2021. The anniversary itself will fall on February 27, 2021 and include collaborations with McDonald’s and Katy Perry.
