November 13, 2020 is a neato Nioh day. Now only is the Nioh 2 PC release confirmed, but so is a The Nioh Collection PS5. This will appear on February 5, 2021 and include many of the features the PC release promises, like 120FPS and a 4K resolution.
So here’s how this all works. Someone could get The Nioh Collection PS5 version, which includes Nioh Remastered, Nioh 2 Remastered and all of the DLC released for them. If someone only wants one or two specific games, then Nioh Remastered – Complete Edition and Nioh 2 Remastered – The Complete Edition will also be sold separately.
Which is helpful for people who already own Nioh 2 for the PlayStation 4. They don’t have to bother with Nioh 2 Remastered, becuase they’ll already own it. Koei Tecmo announced a free upgrade on The PlayStation Blog. PS4 owners who have the Nioh 2 will get Nioh 2 Remastered. They’ll also have the PS5 versions of the DLC, if they already bought any of them. If someone picks up Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition when it launches for the PS4 on February 5, 2021, then they also get the free upgraded version of Nioh 2 Remastered – The Complete Edition.
Nioh and Nioh 2 are both immediately available for the PlayStation 4. The Nioh Collection, with the remastered versions of both games, will come to the PlayStation 5 on February 5, 2021. Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition will also appear for the PS4 on February 5, 2021.
