Last year in Japan, Namco Bandai released a Nintendo 3DS port of two One Piece games that were originally released on the Wii. One Piece: Unlimited Cruise Episode 1 and One Piece: Unlimited Cruise Episode 2 were both released on a single 3DS cartridge as One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP.
Then, a few months later, Europe got the game as well, but there was a catch. The European release only came with Episode 1 on the cartridge, with Namco Bandai explaining that the reason for this was the additional space taken up by including multiple languages for the European release, and deferring responsibility to Nintendo of Europe, who were the game’s distributor.
Now, it looks like the missing second episode of Unlimited Cruise SP is making it over, too. The Australian Classification Board put up a listing today for One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP2, with Namco Bandai listed as its publisher. What’s odd about this is that, while Unlimited Cruise SP was released in Europe, it wasn’t released in Australia.
Neither Namco Bandai nor Nintendo of Europe have officially announced One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP2 yet.
