The Metal Gear Archive Uniqlo T-Shirts Will Return on January 2024

The Metal Gear Archive UT line of T-shirts will return to Uniqlo stores in Japan in January 2024. Each T-shirt will cost 1,500 yen (or about $10), with 6 variants available. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

The Metal Gear collaboration T-shirts were originally released in 2009 and 2012. The collection features T-shirts from 5 different games in the series. These titles include Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Iconic motifs and logos from various entries in the MGS series appear on these T-shirts, like cardboard boxes and the Peace Walker Peace logo.

The re-release of the T-shirts coincides with the launch of the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1, which includes the first three games in the MGS series, as well as the original Metal Gear 1 and 2 for the MSX2, the NES version of Metal Gear, and Snake’s Revenge: Metal Gear 2.

The Metal Gear Archive UT line of Uniqlo T-shirts will return in January 2024. There are 6 T-shirts available, each costing 1,500 yen (~$10). The Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 is now available for the Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The PS4 release date is currently undetermined.
