So far, most information on Rune Factory Oceans has come by way of the series’ producer, Yoshifumi Hashimoto, via the game’s development blog. Now, however, the game’s official website is live, and it includes a section on some of the characters, including protagonists Azel and Sonia.
The big addition here is an introduction to the game’s three “main heroines,” namely Lily, Oddette and Iris. There are likely more that will be added over time, since Hashimoto has said in the past that Azel has roughly the same number of bachelorettes as previous Rune Factory games.
Lily, Oddette and Iris (who fills the nurse role) appear to be sisters. You’ve actually seen them before in screenshots. Here’s a quick look (click to enlarge):

Additionally, the website’s “Story” section mentions something interesting: Somehow, for the first half of the game, Sonia will be present within Azel’s consciousness. No further details on this strange connection are provided.
Finally, here’s box art for both the Wii and PlayStation 3 versions. The images are high-resolution, so you can print them out if you ever want to create a custom cover.
