The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince’s story will be told on even more platforms. NIS will bring the touching tale, which is essentially an extended escort quest, to mobile devices in Japan. The Google Play and App Store product pages are up ahead of the May 29, 2020 The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince Android and iOS launches. It will cost ¥1,960 (~$18). [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
The product listings provided a few hints about what these versions will have to offer. The story will remain the same, of course. A wolf who loves to sing ends up entrancing a young prince with her voice, but she hides herself so he can’t see she’s the one singing. When he climbs to see her one day, she attacks in shock and blinds him. His family imprisons the now-flawed heir, and the wolf trades her voice for a human form at the witch so she can guide the prince to the witch to be healed.
However, there are a few additions in this version. The App Store listing confirmed that, in addition to Japanese, English, French, Korean, and Traditional Chinese language options will be present. People could use a PS4 controller to play. There will also be a new mode where people can listen to 16 songs from the game. (The Akiko Shikata theme song “Tsukiyo no Ongakukai” will be included.)
The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince is immediately available on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 worldwide. It is available on both systems and the PlayStation Vita in Japan. The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince Android and iOS ports will appear in Japan on May 29, 2020.
