The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel to Release on Switch in July

Nihon Falcom announced a release date for the upcoming Nintendo Switch version of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I: Kai -Thors Military Academy 1204-. Japanese and Asian audiences can get their hands on this version of the game on July 8, 2021. This version is based on the PlayStation 4 release of the game. [Thanks, Gamer!]

A Nintendo Switch version of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I: Kai -Thors Military Academy 1204- and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II: Kai -The Erebonian Civil War- were announced in October 2020. Both games will come with several quality of life features. This includes a double speed mode, which increases the speed at which players traverse the map and increases combat speed. However, there is still no word if either of these games will receive a Western release. More information about this release will arrive at a later date.

In January 2021, Nihon Falcom announced The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV  for the Nintendo Switch. This title will release to global audiences, and will be available to purchase physically and digitally. A collector’s edition of this game is available to purchase, and will come with a booklet and soundtrack.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I: Kai -Thors Military Academy 1204- will release for the Nintendo Switch on July 8, 2021 to Japanese and Asian audiences. This title is immediately available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
