The official trailer for the latest Pokemon anime reveals that Ash/Satoshi will be traveling across the Pokemon world with a new trainer named Go, who is partners with Scorbunny. [Thanks, Serebii!]
Go is a young boy just starting on his journey, and his ultimate goal is to try and find the mythical Pokemon Mew.
The latest Pokemon anime, simply named Pocket Monster, has Ash going across the Pokemon world to every region that has appeared in the games, including the Galar region that players will explore in Pokemon Sword and Shield. While Go is focused on Pokemon catching and collection, it’s unclear whether Ash will continue to focus on conquering gyms and challenges as per the norm, considering the multi-regional aspect to this anime.
