The remastered versions of The House in Fata Morgana and A Requiem for Innocence will release in Japan, though Animate Games has plans to release them via Steam in multiple languages.
Both of these games are visual novels set in a mansion. The player travels through the story as a character with amnesia, aided by a maid as they experience different moments in time and learn about both the mysterious mansion and their missing memories.
The original version of this visual novelwas originally released in 2012 for Windows and iOS devices. It received a wider release and English localization in 2016 from MangaGamer. In 2019, it was given a definitive global release for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita from Limited Run Games. As of 2020, a Nintendo Switch version of the visual novel series has been announced, though there is no release date for it.
The House in Fata Morgana Remastered and The House in Fata Morgana: A Requiem for Innocence Remastered will launch on March 12, 2020 for PCs. The former will cost ¥2000 (roughly 17.90 USD), and the latter will cost ¥1620 (roughly 14.50 USD), tax included. Currently, both are planned to be digital-only releases.
