The Changes To Bayonetta Chapter 1’s Vigrid Station

For instance, Vigrid Station was originally going to have a segment where you would Witch Walk along the side of a train and fight your way back to the area, finding it filled with lava. This was cut from the final version of the game, even though a lot of effort was put into the segment. As usual, Kamiya also discusses hidden items and secrets, and reveals that he wrote Antonio’s notes himself.

You can read up on more changes made to Vigrid Station’s design in this older developer post on the PlatinumGames blog.
