The Best Helpers in Dragon Ball Project: Multi (Ranked)

Dragon Ball Project: Multi is a team game in which four players battle four others in a top-down display arena. Along with playing as iconic Dragon Ball characters, such as Goku and Vegeta, players can also enlist the assistance from support characters named Helpers. These Helpers aid the player in ways ranging from defensive buffs to speed boosts. While there are only six Helpers in the Dragon Ball Project: Multi open beta, some are equipped with amazing tools. Here is every Helper ranked in Dragon Ball Project: Multi.

Bubbles

Bubbles is the speed and efficiency buff of Dragon Ball Project: Multi. When this Helper is activated, players in the Area of Effect (AoE) receive Movement Speed Up and Step Efficiency Up. In a game where player movement is relatively slow, Helper Bubbles can provide better dodging when facing opponents. What makes this skill not as useful in Project: Multi is the AoE. The AoE for most Helpers does not cover a large amount of space. Compared to other Helpers that have a similar AoE, Bubbles doesn’t give enough benefits for the player at close range to justify the use in the open beta.

Icarus

Icarus is a Ride Helper that travels quickly in the direction the player wants to go. In addition to maneuvering across the map at high speeds, Icarus can also attack opponents. While Icarus can help the player move incredibly fast, the player will stop once an opponent hits them or runs into a wall. In Project: Multi, the map is littered with NPC enemies as well as opposing players. The map also has plenty of boundaries that the player can run into. This makes Helper Icarus a non-viable option currently, however.

Cabba

Cabba is an Defense Buff Helper that boosts the defenses of your character while in the Area of Effect. This skill works well for those who know they will be going up against multiple enemies at a time. As there is no way to actively block in Dragon Ball PROJECT: Multi, players can easily lose life when attacking a god occupied by opponents. This defensive buff allows players to attack longer without losing their life. Helper Cabba has a temporary defensive buff on those who leave the Area of Effect as well.

King

King is an Attack Buff Helper that increases the effectiveness of your attacks. Similar to other Helpers, this effect only works while in the Area of Effect (AoE). King’s effect will leave a temporary buff once the player leaves the effective range. This skill is excellent when working towards the main objective of the game; defeating the gods to obtain the dragon ball from the opposing team. The only way to deal significant damage to a god is to wait for Zen-Oh to incapacitate them. However, the strongest beings in the universe only halts them a few seconds at a time. Helper King allows players to deal as much damage as possible before Zen-Oh resets.

Botamo

Botamo is a Helper that excels at area control. This Helper charges full speed at an enemy and forces them towards the player. While Botamo doesn’t cause any damage to the opponent when pushing them towards the player, the knockback distance is so great that it makes defeating an opponent easier. It is troublesome for players who try to leave the AoE as Botamo moves incredibly fast.

Farmer With a Shotgun

Farmer with a shotgun is arguably the best Helper in the game. Helper Farmer is a Turret class helper that shoots the nearest player in the vicinity. Unlike turrets in other games that are often stationary, Farmer moves around within the AoE attacking players. If used defensively, this Helper can defend one of your gods under attack. Farmer also causes an All Defense Down and Movement Speed Down debuff to enemies hit by the attack. In a game where movement is slow and multiple enemies can attack at once, this skill set for Farmer makes him the best Helper in Dragon Ball Project: Multi.

As Dragon Ball Project: Multi is in early access, this ranking is subject to change when the game officially releases. Play the open beta for Dragon Ball Project: Multi on Android devices, iOS devices, and PC between August 20, 2024 – September 3, 2024.
