A teaser video has released for Skylar & Plux: Adventure on Clover Island, a 3D platformer inspired by Jak & Daxter and Crash Bandicoot that is heading to PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Skylar was supposed to be CRT’s ultimate weapon in his attempt to make the natural world more mechanical and productive, but she has broken away from her old master to stop him. Using a mechanical arm that lets her fight machines and magnetically grapple to objects to swing around, she will attempt to turn back the robot armies. Meanwhile, owl Plux will provide banter.
Skylar & Plux: Adventure on Clover Island will also use a jetpack and other tools to add complexity to the platforming. It is set to release this year.
