People better be ready to order the Target Animal Crossing Sanrio amiibo cards online. They won’t appear on store shelves in the video game area of the electronics department. The official website’s sneak peek for the March 21-27, 2021 ad is online now, and it specifically noted the Animal Crossing Sanrio Collaboration Pack is “available via order pickup or drive up only.” It also noted that there won’t be rain checks offered for the item if it is out of stock. As a refresher, the Animal Crossing Sanrio amiibo cards Target will sell are a reprint of a limited edition pack previously not available in North America. One pack includes six cards, which unlock Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Keroppi, Little Twin Stars, My Melody, and Pompompurin furniture and clothing. You can also use them to move in themed neighbors. They’re not random, so $5.99 gets you every card in the set.

Since the update that added compatibility for the cards is now live, people who already own them can use existing ones in the game. The same update also added other new features, like additional Custom Design options.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for the Nintendo Switch. The Animal Crossing Sanrio Collaboration Pack of amiibo cards will be available via drive up or order pickup at Target starting on March 26, 2021. The cards will also work with Animal Crossing: New Leaf on the 3DS.
