Tales of Xillia 2 Sold Through 78% Of Its Stock

Tales of Xillia 2 was released in Japan on November 1st and sold 364,439 copies in its first week on store shelves. Japanese sales tracking firm, Media Create, report that it sold through 78.09% of its initial shipment.

 

For the sake of comparison, the first Tales of Xillia game, released in 2011, sold 525,605 copies in its first week with a sell-through of 87.12%.

 

By March 31st, 2013, Namco Bandai hope to sell 650,000 copies of Tales of Xillia 2.

 

Meanwhile, Okami HD, also on the PlayStation 3, sold 68,644 copies with a sell-through of 73.35%. Okami HD actually sold a little more than Okami did on the PlayStation 2. The PS2 version of the game sold 60,161 copies in its first week.
