Tales of Phantasia Blu-ray Will Come Out in 2022

Discotek Media announced that it not only licensed Tales of Phantasia: The Animation, but will also release the Blu-ray. It will come out in April 2022. The Blu-ray will have both the Japanese and English dubs, as well as English subtitles.

Along with the four Tales of Phantasia: The Animation episodes, the Blu-ray will have special features, such as interviews. However, that is the only extra bit that Discotek Media has announced so far. Tales of Phantasia: The Animation originally aired in Japan between 2004 and 2006, and it covers the events of the game.

Tales of Phantasia is the first installment of the long-running Tales of series. It came out in 1995 on the Super Famicom, though Bandai Namco has ported it onto systems such as the PSP and Game Boy Advance over the years. It follow the story of Cress, who travels through time in order to defeat Dhaos.

In other Tales of Blu-ray news, Bandai Namco announced that the final package for the Theme Song of Tales – 25 Anniversary Movie Collection Blu-ray will include the opening animation for Tales of Luminaria, the newest mobile game in the series.

The Tales of Phantasia: The Animation Blu-ray will come out in April 2022.
