Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, who voices both Kirito in Sword Art Online and Law in Tales of Arise, made the announcement during the stream. Like cameo battles in previous Tales games, you will get the opportunity to face off against Kirito and Asuna in combat. Additionally, Alphen, Shionne, and Law will get outfits that will let them dress up as Kirito and Asuna. Alphen will don Kirito’s Black Swordsman clothing, while Law will wear an Elite Disciple uniform.

After defeating Kirito and Asuna, you can unlock the Night Sky Sword: Replica and Blue Rose Sword: Replica weapons. Alphen will also learn a Mystic Art in which he, Kirito, and Asuna attack a single enemy. According to the stream, this is a mutual collaboration. This means that just like how Kirito and Asuna are appearing in Tales of Arise, Alphen and Shionne will also make a cameo in Alicization Lycoris.

The Sword Art Online collaboration pack will be available in Tales of Arise from October 7, 2021. It will cost 1,760 JPY. Tales of Arise is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Windows PC worldwide. Tales of Arise is also having a collaboration with Tales of the Rays.
