Ahead of the September 10, 2021 worldwide debut of Tales of Arise, Bandai Namco shared Character Designer Minoru Iwamoto art showing its major characters. The design features everyone in their normal outfits. However, Alphen’s face isn’t obscured by his mask.

The Minoru Iwamoto art might look familiar. Iwamoto’s acted as character designer for multiple entries in the series. Aside from Tales of Arise, both Tales of Zestiria and Tales of Berseria were his most recent titles.
Previously, Bandai Namco showed Iwamoto’s step-by-step process to create the Tales of Arise mascot, Hootle.

Tales of Arise will appear on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC worldwide on September 10, 2021. It debuted in Japan on September 9, 2021. A demo is out now. In case you missed it, here’s Siliconera’s review.
