It’s been a while since we heard anything about Tale of the Last Promise, so it’s time for a quick update, courtesy of Imageepoch. In case you missed the news, Tale of the Last Promise is scheduled for release on April 28th in Japan.
Like other publishers, Imageepoch are trying to do their part to contribute toward Japan’s earthquake relief. Day and date with the retail version of Tale of the Last Promise, they’ll release a digital version of the title over PlayStation Network. While the retail version will cost 6,279 yen ($77), the digital version will be lower at 5,600 yen ($69).
500 yen ($6) from each purchase of the digital version will be contributed toward earthquake relief efforts in the Tohoku region.
Tale of the Last Promise uses a “control of hate” battle system, by which you can draw an enemy’s attention toward specific characters by performing certain attacks. This allows other members of your party to heal themselves while the enemy is distracted.
