While the announcement teaser for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim back in December showed nothing of what the game actually looks like, a new trailer released by Bethesda earlier today gives you a good look at the game.
With the game not being a sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, the development team for Skyrim began development from scratch and reworked the game’s technology, systems and interface. The Skyrim team is the largest for any Elder Scrolls game yet, reveals the game’s director, Todd Howard.
Morrowind, he reveals, was developed in 2000 with a team of 40, while Oblivion increased that number to 60. The development team for Skyrim is now up to a 100 people, including old and new members of the Elder Scrolls team.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is slated for a November 11th release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
